Rear alignment ???

I have a 84 GSL-SE, the rear axle looks to be sticking out about a inch more to the pass side than the drivers side. Does any one know how to adjust this problem? I don't think the car has ever been hit....

Thanks

Sounds like your watts linkage has very bad bushings or even a broken mount chack that first, the linkage locates your rear end laterally.

Funny, mine does the same thing, and I have replaced every wear item underneath the car, except the idler arm. That is a very long list of parts. Still trying to figure out why it sits off center to the passenger side like that, and it is just about an inch.

Bent watts link or bad watts link bushings- typically from sliding into a curb.......

Most of my problem was I tightened everything up while the body was still in the air and the suspension was hanging. Jacked the car up, loosened the nuts/bolts and dropped the car. When I re-torqued everything the rear axle was nearly centered.

If you haven't replaced any parts, as above, look for worn/bent parts, including the control arms and their body mounts.
