Sam (dj55b) and I just installed this and although after shipping/duties/taxes it cost me a small fortune, I am not dissappointed at all. The tone is fantastic compared to the leaky stock thats now sitting in my trunk. It also came with a great bump in power and torque. At 4500RPM she just wakes up and goes.

Also can anyone direct me to a thread for converting to mechanical secondaries. Or possibly give some insight as to why mine only open some of the time. We checked for vac leaks and found none. Thanks

BTW ... it was my bad camera skills before you guys go shooting at him . We had a few hours of fun installing the whole system on monday. I've definatlly cut my self a few times and hit my head with a 1/2" 6" extension ... not fun lol. Good times though.

BTW, I think RB could design the system a little bit better. For instance the top bolts that are on the back of the mid section, can only be tightened with a wrench that is non ratcheting, other wise is too close to the piping. Also the mid top one at the front of the mid section is a bit challenging without the right tools. We had to use an offset to hold the bolt, and then the nut was turned by squeezing a swivel piece in conjunction with a 6" extension to drive it in. And i gotta say that system is pretty heavy, especially compared to my SDJ headers, they have to be 3x heavier

At idle, I can barely hear it. At full throttle, loud enough, but not louder than an idling Harley. It's a beautiful sound when cruising. And while it is quite a bit heavier than the stock system, the amount of added power definitly makes up for it. I've been driving with 2 tool boxes (fairly heavy) plus the stock exhaust in my trunk since monday and still feel a big difference. Plus the looks going down Richmond Row area bonus too

I found out my secondaries are messed up because I floor it and she bogs, I try again, bog, I try again, and zoom zoom. So I don't know. I'll just make the switch anyways

to be honest the RB muffler is alot quieter than the video ... it doesn't really come alive till you put your pedal down really, and even then cabin noise is really low.

As for the secondaries, they don't come on at idle, they're meant to open up at high rpm, since they're vacumm operated, but you will notice that if infact they don't work you don't your rpms guage will have a hard time to rise up quickly.

Secondaries open up at about 3600 RPM. There's a linkage on the passenger rear side of the carburetor that should be connected. If it isn't, you're secondaries won't open. There is a thread in the archive that Doc put in that will have a picture of it. If I find it I'll post a link
