Wootage... i think that i have figured out what to do with my vacation days.

I have 2 more years of inspection to go fo emitions. Then why am i so happy? i stopped by the guy that does my emitions and asked what is 'leagle'. he told me i only check for the cat. he also said that he would get me to pass as long as i has just the cat on the car all would be good.

so question. with out changing out the header, i beleive that i have the thermoreactor. could i just plug up the hole for the air pump and pull the rest of the rats nest off and leave the reactor and cat on? or am i asking for trouble?

Where did you go that said they would pass you? I have mine registered in Alabama because I can't get it to pass.

I go to a guy in ellenwood GA... and have been for the past 3 years. i have also gotten other people to go to him for emition testing. but the main thing i think it is because it only has 2 years left on it before i can rip the cat off of the car.

again with a thermoreactor and cat can i take the air pump and rest of rats nest off or am i asking for trouble?

Dont do that if you keep the cat on. It'll eventually melt the innards of the cat with no air pump air.

do you know what the ETA would be on somthing like that? like would my cat last 6 months or 2 years? i know it could just depend on who makes the cat.. just wondering.
