The point we all know is keep your rotary cool.
If you want a good aluminum radiator your looking at a BE-KOOL for about 800$

I personally used a stock radiator with a Mishimoto Fan the can suck some real air

The only reason i can see using a aluminum radiator is if you live on hot temp all year around.

Is there something special about rotary radiators?

I mean my 4-runner has a large aluminum radiator, so why couldnt we use commonly found aluminum rads and a decent e-fan or stock fan clutch (since we know it pulls alot of air).

Or do we not use them because or the custom mounting we would have to go through?

if you can make it fit it will work. mounts are not hard if your handy with a propane torch and solder. have you ever soldered copper water pipes?

Mazdaspeed motorsports has aluminum rads. you have to be a comp. member to get them. I bought one new in box a few years ago and it works very well. I put a very large e-fan on it. it never gets hot.
