WA racing beat dellarto set up specs for 13b

hay all got a very detailed message from Jim Mederer at racing beat on their set up of the dellarto dhla 48, here are the specs

Ok so I posted an email to Dave that runs the gruntled site and heres his response:

Thanks for passing this to me! This is the first information I have seen from RB on their carb modifications. I'll update my website in the next couple of weeks.

-Dave
So this info will soon get reflected there and forever keep folks enlightened.

Big thanks to Dave for making/maintianing his site.

just found the most important mod from racing beat set up after reading some older posts. drilling the primary jet holder to 1.4mm.
this jet holder is plugged in the top at the screw driver slot!! It needs air bleed to work correctly......finally can get my tune better.

Seriously good information. Someone will really appreciate this one day. You should post this up in the first gen section if you haven't already. I'm sure those guys would love this.

funny thing with mine..is i made a thread about converting it from tuned for a 13b to work for my 12a....some how after i installed the fixed idle jet holder 7850.4..it was running super rich without the bleed hole ...i lost my 13b 7850.8 holders... i did notice with my car last time i was there...even though i had it tuned pretty good...i wasn't idling the best when the A/C was on...i know that the A/C takes a lot...other than that...its still running great...and gotta love that 2 barrel sound...

also...do you have a fmoc? if not i would recommend it...

Just a bump for folks in the 1g section since this has been moved. Good info on the RB

still doing some fine tuning, but man is this close to being like I remembered years ago on a repu with a 13b 4 port with a racing beat supplied dell and rb intake. going to drop the chokes in tomorrow and drop the mains one size and see how the numbers are. the low speed and tip in is awesome, the best it has ever run with the new engine.

keep ya posted

so final tune is done. only changes made to run the set up on the 6 port to make it PERFECT are....39 mm chokes, jet primarys to 80 jet, drop main to 220 and leave the 230 air corrector in.......set idle mixture screws to 4-1/2 turns advance timing to 28 degrees at 4k rpm. My engine builder drove the car for the first time on Monday night(Jesus), his comments were " this car drives as nice as any fuel injected car I have driven, nice, really nice. I am impressed". That was the best comment I have ever gotten from anyone who has seen or driven my car, makes me feel really good on the progress and all the love and time I have put into the car to make it run correctly.
just thought I would share, I have learned soo much about the dells in the last month, just awesome.
I hope this info helps others to get the correct tune on their car as I did with mine.
