Oh, damn under 2k... LOL well you could try doing a cheap TII swap...

you can go to Robert over at www.rotaryshack.com get one of his 87/88 TII engines for $1000 get a megasquirt for about 250-300, wiring harness and some other thing i dont know everything that you would need but you will need a front cover from a 1st gen and the driver sided harness i beleive can be reused. another words if you budget your money right and you know a few ppl that will fab up some **** or even if you can do it yourself you can do it with a TII engine or you can peice your self a turbo kit (make your own) for your 12A for around the same price do some searching you ll find what you need to know i think i still have a link for used TII turbos for $100 $200 i ll see if i still have it.
