Quick way to identify carb?
I have an 84 gs and was told teh carburetor was a holley, but I wanted to make sure. Is there somewhere on the carb that has the brand name? Also is holley the original carburetor for this car?

Terrified.
Yeah, definitely post up some pics. There will be someone on here to identify the carb for you.
Also, I don't know about all Holley's, but my Holley says Holley right on the side of the thing. I'd put money on it that if yours is a Holley it would say it somewhere on it as well.

What is the diameter of the opening on the bottom of the air cleaner where it mates to the carb? The Nikki carb is smaller than a holley or edelbrock carb.

Gee, I don't know, what air cleaner was on the carb? If it's blue and says Mazda, it's stock. If it's white and says Racing Beat, it could be stock or a Holley. If none of the above, it's aftermarket. If all of the rat's nest is hooked up, it's stock. If the wider part of the carb is front to back, Nikki, side to side across the engine bay, Holley. What else do you need to know?
