Question about Silver Reverse Gauges convertion.

Yeah, just buy the ones made for the 84-85 car. Get on Ebay and search for em, and I think www.procarparts.com has them too.

If you have an SE then its 84-85 in which case you can buy the correct silver/backlit indiglow gauges.......like these....

No mine is just plain 1981, not sure if GS, SE I mean they have so many models ****, is hard to keep with. So, if mine is a SE then is cool if not then what it is? GS? Non - named Rx7 model? Which gauges fits a 81?

I heard there is a way to cutom cut the 84 one or something to make it fit into a 81 which some peoples have done. That is why I am asking if anyone here have done anything like that?

Those gauges for 81-83 Rx-7s are pretty cool, but I dont think they work in an 82 model (not that it really matters to the thread, just adding information that someone may find usefull). The speedo only goes up to 85 MPH that year (at least that was the case with my old 82). It would be kinda funny to put them in anyways, make you feel like your going really fast!
