putting 13b plugs in my 12a Is it safe

putting 13b plugs in my 12a Is it safe

hi this is rotary addiction and yes i havent fixed my overheating probs but i pulled the plug and turnt it over no water yes!!!!! but i noticed the plugs were cheap pos plugs they were autolite 2526 all the same no leading or trailing just 2526 all four, now i have a fairly new been run for five minutes in a water swallowing 13b NGKs can i take the NGKs and put the 13b plugs in my 12a
o by the way its an 84 12a in a GS


thanks im replacing the thermostat first if that doesent do it ill pull radiator

yes its safe. its worth nothing. 13b plugs are too shrouded and suck. I run stock NGK 12a plugs in my 13b. Its all about the bur8eq-13's baby!!

What are you talking about? The "stock" plugs for 13B and 12A are NGK BR8EQ14 with four side wires. How is that "shrouded" in comparison with the BUR plugs which fire down inside a cavity and cost an arm and a leg? The BEST performance is achieved with plugs that have a SINGLE side wire, but they don't last long enough for the average street driver. I'll get off my soapbox now...

I thought they were the same plugs in the 12A and 13B OE. I just bought four new ones from the parts supplier, and when he asked me what motor I had I told him, then he said never mind they are the same plug.

I use the shrouded platinum plug (for turbo's) and find they last a lot longer than the stock plug.

i use normal single earth plugs (ngk b8es)its actually two stroke plugs.they work great,but dont last long.

oops i ment br8eq-14 was the stock 12a plug, *******. it was a long day. i work 8 days a week and 9 hours a day so fawk off. The stock 13b plugs are bur7eq in the leading and bur9eq in the trailing. ******* And the 13b plugs cost the same as the 12a plugs at my local parts depot. sucks for you beioch
