Very nice work Direct. It looks sweet.

But I must say, even the thought of having to do all that wiring gives me a headache. Give me a Weber fed bridge-port any day.

Thanks. It's actually all thought out already. I designed a wiring schematic for it, and it's all Color Coded.

I was waiting for the Fuel Rails, so I could put on the intake. Now I can finish most of the Haltech wiring.

My next project...13B Cosmo swap ...Right after i win the lottery... . Oh, did you rebuild that engine before dropping it in, or did you just throw it in and hope that its good? I was thinking about buying a used TII engine for my swap EVENTUALLY, but I was trying to decide if I should rebuild it first or not. I mean, with it out, it would be the best time, before I get too far into the project that is...

It's a J-Spec engine, Not Rebuilt. The guy I bought it from has a friend in the Air Force stationed in Japan, that even does compression tests before buying them. He usually buys them in wrecked car auctions, so they were running engines. Not from boneyards where the engines sit out all day in the rain. Then he sends them to Shane in North Florida. He sells 20B's too. Mine had pretty good milage 36K, so I took the risk of not rebuilding it.

He is on the forum once in a great while:Shane - jabbasbmfrx7, His email is: Jabbasland@aol.com

Tell him Alex sent you. He is a nice, honest guy. Great service too.

My one request is that you let me sit on the passanger seat while you pull through the gears. And only @ that point shall I give you my final word on the out come of "Project Cosmo Kramer"

I love it, stock to HOLY **** man I got to use that one LOL

Alex I know you car will be faster than mine, but do you really know what you are getting? Man I had no clue, and mines not even tuned, the ****** is scarey FAAAASSSSTTT... 0-60 no problem, 60-100 no problem, and at a 100 it still wants to keep climbing, at 100 I was pulling 10 psi ! And I dont have the turbo opened all the way up yet.. I just hope you know what you are doing... The car is gonna be MAD QUICK YO!

BTW: Everyone know how your 12A stock, 13b stock are. You get that evil shake at around 100? All my fist gens done it and this one does it too? Is it the chassis not being made for that speed? Or have more to do with the speed rating on the tires?

It won't necessarily be faster, But I won't lie. I want 11's on street tires right out of the box.

The spooky part is your car is running that freaking fast with 10PSI, ans untuned. Imagine when you turn up that wick.

I used to have that problem them on my old SE. It all changed when I got the front and rear spoilers, with 15 inch rims (back then 15's where a big deal). I think it's the front nose. It creates too much lift at high speed. Changed big time after the spoilers where on. After that, I could hit 120 or so without the shakes. (but plenty of wind noise)

Anyone making a bolt-on 'chin' like on the SA, but for the FB? Not a whole frikkin' air dam - I like the chisel nose. That little, subtle chin underneath should be enough to provide downforce and match the early 80's lines of the car...

I wonder how Jim (notav6) is coming with his car? I went over to his house earlier this year to check his car out and it looked like he didn't have all that much to do. If I remember right he said he was just waiting on his turbo to get there a few months ago?

Alex, Looks good!

Now that you are knee deep in the swap how long do you really think it is going to take you to complete? I remember you saying that you thought it would take a little over a month, still think so? Last fall I said I'll have mine done by spring for sure.... lol, what a pipe dream I had... it's now the following fall and my new goal is next spring If it's not done by then I think I'll go insane watching you guys with your cars!

Once agian, good job!!
