Project FB!

Sup,

Buying a 84GSL stock.

Going to do the following:
-Keep engine stock
-Replace Radiatior (anyone know where i can get a good aluminmum one?)
-Adding projector lights from CP Racing
-Adding AirBags
-Adding Rims (universal 4 bolt should work right?)
-Pearl White paint

Anybody have any comments? Any problems with the 84gsl i should be aware about?

Going to chrome the rx7 decals as well, and might make most of the roof into a targa top.

Want a body kit, but not until the core of the car is ready.

Get your widebody kit before the airbags, dude. They might set the airbags off nailing them fenders on.

I've seen the CP lights. Really didn't like them. I think the were made from an old shoe boxes.

I've heard that Christmas lights make a good substitute for Neon, just an idea?

LOL, my bad... i meant airbag struts.

I think i am going to keep it stock. CP sells the projector headlight casing for 200USD, and you can get your own lights... not a bad deal.

I also want to reduce the weight of the car by adding a light rear hatch window and a fiberglass hood.

So the universal 4 boltpattern rims wont work on this car?

Hallogen headlight are expensive........

Plastic wrap works great for a light rear window.......

Your choices are very very limmited for wheels with the stock bolt pattern..........

I like that ebay car....If I ws shelling out 9k, I'd want more than 138hp....LMAO....Also, why add a widebody to 100hp? Put some muscle in there to back up the car...Every light you hit someone will be reving expecting a race, not a idle contest. You going to throw on some 19inch wheels too?? if you keep the engine stock, then keep the car stock and upgrade with the usual bolt ons and ignition stuff.....my .02, not trying to flame.
