It always cracks me up how much value people put on a gutted car. Two us at Solo II Nationals last year were running our IT cars. Of course we have gutted cars with cages. More than a couple of the CSP drivers were heard bitching.
If they read the rule book maybe they would understood that not only are IT cars legal for Street Prep they compete at a HUGE disadvantage. IT cars have to run IT spec wheels (ITA/ITS = 7" and ITC/ITB = 6") and stock induction systems. So IT cars are down on traction and HP in Street Prep.

Well gang.... she is ready to go again! I have a race this weekend. I added an MSD 6A and 3 MSD coils. I am running 2 coils direct to the leading. One coil through the dizzy to the trailing.
One thing to note, I ran the trailing distributor hookup through the leading part of the cap. This way the fire can go through the carbon button and only have to jump once in the dizzy.
It is running great and ready to go.
Here are some pics....before you ask...I am running a mesh screen on the carb. It runs better without the air filter and the screen will keep pebbles and rubber chunks out of the engine...
