interesting. i always thought the stock cloth seats were plenty supportive for daily driving. i didn't even have a problem with them in my '83 for the autocross action.

imo, money would have been better spent on a carb setup or racingbeat exhaust.

Ok. I just joined this club. And i cant say buy reading this form it has made me a very proud member. Why are you all picking on him. You guys called him stupid about taking out the carpet way to many time. Its really not necessary. We all like cars, and we all have are own image of are perfect car. Maybe his is ripping out the carpet i don't know. This guy seems extremely enthused about his car and your shutting him down. Some of you guys did a good job i admit of giving advice. If your 15 your probily not the most advance in cars but learning. And if you really love you car and want to work on it. There is not much you can do with out help. So you end up doing something like striping out the interior, come on we have all done something like it. We Learn and we fix are mistakes. All i am saying is cut him a little slack.

Tips:
-Speed is boring with out skill (coming from a guy who as grew up in a shadow of his dad's toys M6 M5 SL 55 AMG Jag XJR). The thing i have learned is gunning it, is only fun for about 4 months.
-learn how to drive in a way to make your friends sitting in the passenger seat say "what are you doing" with a big grin.
-double clutch
-heal-and-toe
-proper steering techniques
-proper cornering
-Maybe a little fun playing with overstear if you live
in right area.
