I want to put a 2.5 in. exhaust on my 1983 rx7. I want to put the RB second gen. presilencer (1989-1992) on my car because it comes in 2.5 inch size. The RB 1st gen. presilencer only comes in 2 in. Would I be able to use the second gen presilencer and still have the flange bolt up.

 

Well it won't match up to the rest of 1st Gen exhaust if that's what you're asking.

 

no i plan on making a custom exhaust with a borla muffler. I just want to know if it will bolt to the header.

 

no, it wont bolt up, you have to change flanges.

muffler shops usually have em, or you can get one from racing beat
