Prelude vs. GSL - who would win?

Squeak, Suicide Girls
**** the honda. It sucks, it will die to the awesome power of the rotary.
The 7 can't lose.
As a side note I hate whoever came up with that phrase, but its so catchy and can be used in almost any conversation:
Mom: Your grandfather is having heart surgery, they give him a 50/50 chance of living.
Me: THE 7 CANT LOSE!

If he dosent have the SRV model, then he has the stock 2.3L which puts out 160hp. And if your at 150hp, you should win.
The SRV runs 15.1 in the 1/4.
All i know is my FB is faster than my Prelude. But when its all said and done, when its amateurs, 50% is car, 50% is driver.

But, they have a serious weight disadvantage.
I'm sure the pull from the line is due to the VTEC?
Anyway, does he happen to have one of those hideous spoilers like they normally do? If so, you'll win, simply because of the weight of the spoiler pushing down on wheels that are already having to be pulled. It's sort of like putting a giant wing on the front of a RWD car, in theory

love the braaaap
It would be a close race. I think it will come down to who's the better driver. The 4th gen preludes are pretty fast. I have a friend with one, all stock besides blue underglow and ungodly huge graphics on the side. Haven't raced him and haven't been in the car, but its fast enough.
Most people think that because the prelude is FWD, its at a dissadvantage from a dig. This is quite the opposite. The prelude doesn't have enough torque to make this a dissadvantage. Its the high torque FWD cars that have a real problem with wheelspin.

Well, I guess I'll start with a run from a dig then, and if I win I'll go on one from a roll
I'm not the greatest of drivers, but he is like a 21 year old kid, so I should have more experience than him driving. Unfortunately, I also have like 70 lbs on him , which doesn't help.

NOICE; here we also have the "no-chase" law. but it only helps if you have a bike. hahaha, back on topic... i think you have a good chance. i ran an old school accord in mine back before the turbo was put on. it had an h22 with bolt-on's. i hung with him till i came out of 4th. he was still in third. their long *** gears will get ya.

Didn't happen last Friday. He was too drunk and tired to do it. We rescheduled for this weekend...
Can I borrow pinky for one night? He'll never notice that is not my car, I'd love to see the look in his face when we go

Well, we finally raced tonite. 2:30 am, totally deserted road. Went from a dig and a couple of rolls. I got beaten every time. First we went from a red light. I revved to 4,500 rpm and got the jump thanks to the rwd. By the end of 1st he had caught up with me, shift to 2nd at 7500 rpm and he starts to walk away, by the end of 2nd at 7500 rpm he was about 2 cars ahead, but when I was gonna do the 3rd gear pull he shut down at about 70 mph so couldn't squeeze the juice out of 3rd gear, only take it to about 5k rpm. Then we went from a couple or rolls from about 30 mph but he also shut down every time at around 70. Fortunately there is hope because I had recently changed primary fuel jets from 155 to 150 to handle some sputtering at 3-4k rpm, but haven't had the chance to compensate with bigger secondary jets. I was actually accelerating better at 4 rpm when opening the mech secondaries with the 155/175 combo. So now I need to get 180s, maybe 185s to compensate for the smaller primary jets.
Anyways, I got killed.
Anyways, I got killed.
