Check the wiring that goes into the door from the car. Years of opening and closing the door could cause a wire to break. While holding the switch move the wiring to seek an intermittent contact between a possible broken wire

This happened to me with an Oldsmobile on a rainy day. Ofcourse I did not discover the solution until 3 days later

here's a quick bodyshop trick... If your window is stuck in a certain position. this is all of course after you've verified that there is no blockages, burnt fuses etc...
First put your ear to the door panel while having someone operate the switch. If you can hear the motor trying to move that means the switch is OK; buy a new window motor.
Second, if the motor moves and there is no movement in the window glass; buy a new window regulator(some assemblies come as a pair with the motor depending on make/model)
Third, if no noise from motor when pressing window switch wiring may be an issue. Test this by using a battery or 12 volt source and jumping the ground and power wires on the motor directly. If it moves; electrical problem before the motor, if no movement; bad motor and bad electrical problem....
Good Day!

No manual adjustment. To test the motor, you can remove the door panel and supply 12V and ground to the appropriate wires shown in the first picture in the link below.

I would check the switch first. The window switches are often the problem when power windows don't work or run slowly. The console with the switches is held in place with plastic tabs. If you're careful you can pull it out without breaking them. Unplug the switch. In the connector the switch was plugged into, connect the Green wire terminal to the Black wire terminal and Red wire terminal to the Black/blue wire terminal. The left window should go up if the switch is at fault. Be sure to disconnect the wires when the window is all the way up or the motor will continue to run possibly causing it to burn up. Green/blue and Red/blue wires do the same on the right side. Black with red and Black/blue with green make the window go down. If the window works when you jump the wires in the plug, the switch is your problem. Dirty contacts are usually the issue. You can take the switches apart and clean the contacts. These pictures describe how to do this.
