The big silver ribbed hose that comes off of the top of the exhaust mani and went to the snorkel on the oem air cleaner is a heat tube to warm the carb/engine up quicker. You don't need that.
As for the rest of them, break out the manual. You might be suprised with the extra things you learn that you weren't looking for.

Alright, so I started it back up and everything was great without the plugs. So kentetsu told me to find the hoses that vacuum to plug. So i found the hoses and they are the air pump and the little tiny one in the rats nest. I noticed when i plugged the little tiny one there was a difference in the sound a little bit. Will it affect anything if i plug these hoses. Thanks and god bless./ Oh ya, wouldn't it be bad if i plugged the air pump hose. I guess i can just leave it unplugged if i have to.

You plug all of the little hoses that suck in air. To test this put your finger over each hose that you have unhooked right now, if it sucks your finger in, plug it. Download the FSM from trochoids sig, look up the air pump and acv lines, those have to stay hooked up, if you dont hook up the air pump line, your cat will get way hotter than ever before, and eventually collapse.

So trochoid, that little one hose that connects to the bottom of the carb is supposed to be plugged. You said that if i plug it tho that I'll lose some vacuum source to the other solenoids. My friend just left it on unhooked and it idles great. He said that when he takes it off the idle is all screwed up. Should i just leave it on but not hooked up to anything??
Alright, now about the air pump. I know i don't plug that hose but, is it ok if i leave it on, but not plugged up to anything??
Then i just leave the rest of them on but not plugged right? Sorry for the confusion i'm having. I want this to run properly, but i'll search too.

I know this is a really old post. But I'm curious if you ever figured it out? I order the intake from RB and didn't even think about the vacuum hoses. Thanks
