whats a good suspension setup for one of these?, i'd really like to autocross it in the future!!
ps. can someone give me a guestiment .25 mile time with a similar setup to mine with a header? (12a gs, dell 48 dhla, one piece intake, free flow exhaust and header, and a 6al box?)

For suspension, you could use ST, RB, or Eibach(if you can find them) springs and pair them with Tokico shocks in either the blues or Illuminas(adjustable). as far as drag times, if you know how to get down the track right I'd say 14's would be fair, depending on vehicle and driver weight

As for suspension, if you can handle a harsher ride, go for coilovers in the front. Won't cost you much more than what was mentioned above if you buy the parts from ReSpeed, and it will greatly improve handling over "lowering springs". I've got 250lb springs on the front of my car and it is harsh, but not crazy rough. The thing handles like its on rails too, even without an aftermarket sway bar.

Alot depends on weight as well. I managed a 16.090 with just exhaust, direct fire, and an RB air box. That's with old tires and a shitty running stock carb. With new tires and a good running carb mid 15's for me would be possible. With a Sterling I could hit low 15's I'm sure. With full intake and an MSD box I don't see why high 14's couldn't be possible as long as he doesn't weigh 250 lbs LOL

Well, his car weighs right around 2400lb probably, about what mine is I think. FirebirdSlayer666, I notice you have 2 cars in your sig. Which one did you run the 16 in?
I guess I should mention that my 15.53 was with a real shitty launch, 2.3sec 60foot time which is horrible. I just couldn't get the car to launch right. I probably could have gotten a 2sec 60foot time if I had more practice, which woulda put my times in the low 15's.

This is still 12a right? You shouldn't be pushing out more than 140 hp at crank. I have a six port GSL-SE motor with mikuni 44 and headers, straight pipe and all that and am probably only pushing 150rwhp I would think...not sure though.

You won't see much change in performance without a freer flowing exhaust setup. Since you have the Dell setup and running right you need a header, some silencers and a free flowing exhaust. I have the RE system from back in the day with my Dell and it works great. Its really quiet until you romp on it. As some of the guys at our meet can tell you
Never dynoed it but my guess is its putting out max bhp of 150. As previous poster said, stock port 12a can't put out anymore than that really.
