The red 3rd gen has a 13b Peripheral Port. Kinda hard to hear but the video is sweet.
The in car video mazdatrix.com car is a 12a stockport with some upgrades to the Nikkei and open exhaust.

It isn't a bridge port. Not a P port either. Is that ok?
I don't even know if these links will work.

lol, at least it's a 1st gen starter instead of the stuck-pig sound of 2nd gen and later starters. Consider yourself lucky that your ears were spared from the horribleness.
The next time I record that engine, it'll have a 2nd gen starter, but at least it should hold an idle... probably.

ok so its not a bridge port, or a P Port... its a street port, and when that motor got pulled apart, i saw just how sloppy of a street port it was(could have done better with a dull hack saw...), hell its not even a first gen... but this is what my TII sounded like with a "street port" and 3" straight pipe/down pipe.... very sick sounding indeed...

the mic was bout 7-8 feet back, and i used a Shure SM57 instrument mic and my boss digital 4 track to record it...

Thank you. The sound clips were recorded off of a straight header. I also fabbed a quick carb adaptor to run the 20B off a Racing Beat prepped dellorto 48DHLA. It had a few vacuum leaks and the fuel would pool inside the upper manifold. Not a good combo. I'll be sure to record a few more sound clips after I get it running properly. I started fabbing an exhaust system for it today.
