Post dyno results.

I'd like to see who has actually taken their car to a dyno, and what they got. So post up you numbers, car info, and mods list.

butt dyno says 50hp due to fuel starvation, which quickly becomes 0hp and time spent sitting in someone's driveway while lying under the car.

all seriousness aside, would you count g-tech results?

I'm just curious... What prompted this is a discussion I was having with a friend about how big of an improvement the RB streetport system would make. Mine's never been to the dyno. I can pull up a few results off some peoples webpages and post, but that's about it.

Tim Schuh's Car 85 -SE
RB short primary, electric fan, AL flywheel, intake etc etc...
http://www.wankel.net/registry/1st/tschuh.html

Jim Linihan's Car 85 -SE
RB long primary system, air pump gone, stuck 5&6th ports
http://home.mn.rr.com/linnihan/enginetrannyexhaust.htm

if anyone has others, please post

As it turns out, I'm going next Tuesday for a 3 shot run on Alamo AutoSports dyno for baseline numbers. I'm going to see how they look and how a G-Tech run the same day stacks up.This, after a day at the Kennedale 1/8th mile track on Sunday where it's "Run Your Friends" night!!...specs on the engine below and in gallery text...the engine is woefully out of tune, but I'm doing nothing for all of this baseline stuff to get real world gains from the work that is to come this summer...

Why does the run stop at 6500? It looks like you were going to keep on pulling to 8000 RPM and still make power with that curve!

Well at 6500 I chunked a pinion tooth in the rear end so need I say more my day was done, although it sounded like a rod knocking with the noise coming through the drive shaft and tranny. Lol

i donot have mine scanned (nor right in front of me), but i hit about 135 rwhp and 116 ft/lbs torque

that is with a mild streetported 13b (rx4 style), racing beat streetport exhaust, 2 msd blaster 2 coils, jacobs wires, and the stock intake running a little lean ( i need new jets).

Horsepower on the Left,
Torque on the right,
RPM accross the bottom.

The Dyno took a **** between 5 & 6 thousand RPM.

Oh, yeah, and *I Wish* that was mine. That was my good friend's Crispeed's 2nd measily attempt on the dyno at only 25lbs of boost using alcohol. The car is far from tuned, and is has run out of injector. He still has about another 200-300 hp to get out of that little 13B.

107.7 rwhp stock 12a 82 S

long tube headers, edelbroke intake, no pump, no rats nest,

fuel pump and reg but stock jetting, it was running really lean.

i bet with jetting I could have pulled 115 easy.

cant remember what the torque was...

Don't be shocked when it's only 320 rwhp.. ...this is indeed a blast from the past...here's what my old dead '80 did with a messed up stock Nikki on the big RP street-port just prior to being totaled...

I think I finally found the perfect body and it's here in Arlington...a very nice '83 with a PERFECT black interior...I can't believe my luck...it even still runs with the original 147,000 mile engine but won't currently pass inspection...
