Porting questions/advice

I hear that duct tape around the porting guide will help if a drill bit goes crazy on you and not scar the irons/housings. I can get all the carbide bits I need for free, so I don't have to go through RB unless I get the porting templates.

Also, can an El Cheapo electric dremel tool do the job or am I stuck with buying an air power tool?

Any advice would be great. These are going on some housings I have lying around.

make sure your bits are for the right type of metal (iron or alum). you can use a dermel but it will take longer
