Question Plz name that oil cooler

I have two oil coolers in my shop.
One is from an SE and other is about the same dimensions but I don't know what it came out of. Mounting points and oil line locations are different.

The image with the blue tape is from an SE (going in my MG conversion).
The other image is the mystery oil cooler. I got it from an old rotary friend who was cleaning out his garage. My guess is maybe 79-83 RX7?

It's not a 79-83 oil cooler, looks like a 2nd gen rx7 oil cooler.

Thanks everyone. I guess neither would be a direct bolt-on to my '85 GS. Maybe if I fabricated some brackets I could find some place to fit. I would think that the GS radiator would be in way. At least both are sized properly to do the job.

just takes a little work, some people upgrade to the FC cooler because it has much sturdier bosses where the early coolers would have a tendency to crack if you tighten the lines down a hair too much.

Here is the custom FMOC I'm installing. It's a Rotary-Works 10 row unit with -10 fittings, Earl's oil temperature regulator, and steal braded lines. I built a brace to go between the front header.

Looks like some pretty good work!

Looks like some pretty good work!

What temperature does that regulator block keep the oil at? Is it adjustable?

Thanks, I've spent way to much on adding a FMOC.

The Earl's oil termastat starts to open at 160 degrees fully opens at 180 degrees. It has an internal bypass until it opens.
