Please help me identify this part

I have discovered 2 cut wires under my dash. I think it is from when the shop installed the microtech. I assume these wires were in the way so they just cut them. I am trying to figure out what this part is. This is where the 2 wires are cut off. Thank you.

Try circling or describing the cut wires. I can't tell from looking at those pictures
if theres even an issue or what it might be.

Its the small aluminum box component in the close up shot on the first picture. I think it has something to do with the air conditioning but im not sure. The wires are cut under the dash. I just want to know if I should reconnect the wires to this comoponent.

That is the frost temperature warning switch for the AC. The wires are Yellow/red and Blue/red? If your AC system is working then you want it connected.
