Pictures of updates on interior change, computer case
Alright, so i've been busy with the ITB stuff right now and kinda neglected updating my other stuff. So here is more stuff for your guys. I will have a write up done on how i did the rear storage bin covers. Let me know how you guys like things though.
So first we have the computer case: I just took a piece of sheet metal and cut out the corners than folded it in, and JB welded the sides. The all the holes were drilled out for the fan, Hard drive, and USB adapter. All toped with a flat black paint
Next up we have the door panel. the tan color is painted but the insert beachwood color is done in Vynil. The Bottom part will be done in carpet like stock. Still trying to figure out what it is the closest color from 1aauto. Ordered a few more samples and should go on from there.
Now these are the kick panel Speaker covers if you wish to call them. All done in vynil and 1/4" foam then placed the speaker cover on there. (Of course I cut out the vynil to allow better sound to come out .
Lastly we have the storage bin covers. Those needed some outside the box thinking as I could not find any proper material to use instead of it.
All that is basically left to do is the headliner and the sunvisors. leave the hardest till last

Thanks Doc,
The headliner is almost fully stripped. There really isn't any easy way of taking it off that I know of atleast. I tried to rip it off but all that came off was the cloth part not the foam. I did dry to use a heat gun as per trochoids suggestion with no real luck. So brass wire brush on a power drill it is. Also its messy as hell.

When I was redoing another members interior the headliner was ripped. So we took out the headliner and he attempted to put new material over the top after stripping off what he could. It didn't come out well at all. We wound up using another good headliner.
I am hoping that I can just spray over the top of the cloth with the SEM paint and be done with it.
