Pics of my car
85 GS
-12A - 113,000 mi stockport
-48 DRLA Carb on Racingbeat manafold w/6" velocity stacks.
-Custom header with dual 2-1/4" exaust all the way back with a dual inlet / single 3" outlet muffler (magnaflow) also 2 presilencers, one for each pipe.
-DLIDFS w/2 MSD 6A ignition boxes (no 8K bug, but still added benifets of Multiple Discharge)
-Holley 300GPH fuel pump with Holley 2-14PSI regulator. (upgraded to 3/8" fuel lines)
-Flexlite Electric fan
Plans:
This friday I will be replacing the rear mufler with two 2-1/4" Areospeed canisters with removable silencers and the same shop will be welding in a roll cage into the rear section. (mostly for chassis rigididy)
Buying GSLSE parts car. Will be adding front and rear brakes and LSD to my car. Also the 13B if it still runs good. Powersteering is a possiblity to.
When I have the 13B in I will be planning on a TII turbo install with a blowthough system using my delorto 48.
Pics:
P.S: The only reason my car LOOKS like crap is because all the money goes in the engine bay. Besides hondas are less hesitant to race me and loose hahaha!
P.I.S.S: Currently running 15.7 But that was before my exaust and ignition system hoping for mid 14's but my clutch is going out.

ok can I point something out?
first thing I noticed that you can upgrade is the header. I see it's not equal length, eventhough you have duals all the way back, this is making you loose some power.
another thing. That 48 might be just a tad too big for a stock port. Also try to get an early time oil cooler instead of the crappy new style.
Looks good and I suggest you get started on a ported engine you already have all the goodies for a quick running car...a nice streetport and you are set for a while...then turbo...
ahh...forget about powersteering you don't need it...

I'm into drifting, power steering is a must due to the fact that most of the time the I only have one hand on the wheel. The LSD will be good for that too. Also the GSLSE has a diferent geerbox quikening the steering ratio.
The oil cooler WILL be coming off the GSLSE I am getting, I havent forgot about that. and the 48 is definatly NOT to big. she runs great no "bogging down" whatsoever especialy with the MSDs.
Thank you for pointing out the flaw in my exaust system I will have that corected on friday at the exaust shop. How much HP do you think I am loosing?
I will be using the 13B and a 12A to create a 4-port 13B and that will be bridgeported and Turbo'd

I don't think you are loosing too much since you got a very nice dual setup. Seriously I don't know but the idea of having equal length is important one pulse helps the other exhaust pulse, all about tunning it.
Hey can you gimme some pointers on drifting? are you drifting withou lsd? I got no lsd now and I want to get one soon but I can't seem to find a donor.

yeah finding a donor is hard. You can drift w/o LSD but the car is hard to break loose at speeds upwards of 20mph. and WAY less preditable. If your in the Tucson area i will give you some lessons.
as to the exaust note the pipes will not connect anywhere down the entire exaust system, they are two seperate pipes one for each rotor. Friday thay will be muffled seperatly

We are running this friday at SiR I will be meeting with people who are interested in going to run at Ultra Perfomance on speedway at 6:00pm then we will drive out there. $10 to watch $15 to race.
I have a 5speed I'll sell you out of and 83. you can have the clutch slave cyl and peddles and lines and everything. let me know.
I am redoing the entire exaust VERY soon due to the fact that I have come across a turbo setup off a j-spec 12at. I will be selling my complete exaust as well it may not be perfect as previously stated but it's WAY better than the stock one. I also have a guy here in tucson who will make any changes to it DIRT CHEEP. I trust him he has an 8 seccond ElCamino.

i drift without a lsd but its pretty crappy compared to what I can do with a proper setup.
this is what I do to drift without a lsd.
first it has to be a left turn, torque transfer through a open will naturally go to the right wheel. if you turn right youll just smoke the tire.
get a idea of how much distance is needed to get to about 6000k in first,
I usually drift through intersections so Ill explain it from that standpoint. start from your set distance. run up hard in first toward the turn,
heres where it gets tricky,
as you enterthe turn, without taking your foot off the gas, turn left (about a quarter turn) and shift as hard as you can into second. if you shift at to low a rpm or dont shift fast and hard enough you wont break loose the tires.
am not familiar with your cars power or traction but you need to spin the tires as fast as possible so keep your foot to the floor. Countersteer through the corner and whalaahh, fat drift.

when you get your car properly set up you should be able to enter, complete and exit a turn all in one big slide, that is a true drift.
take some pix, im trying to set up some pix of my drifting in the rain but I dont usually drift on dry pavement because I lack the power to complete the manuver properly and it jsut looks bad. After my engine swap with a lsd axle this winter, my car should be a mad drift machine.
edit: on the exhaust thing; a stockport will make the most peak power with a fully uncollected system, pro 7 and spec 7 go full dual.
you will have a lot better powerband with a short primary system though.

You don't need to spin them that much just keep them spinning, no reson to run it past redline. Tell me when you can do a 45 to 45 degree tight to left S turn without loosing it or getting TOO sidways and slowing down.
I got the rear mufflers replaced, Two R1 2 1/4" inlet with 3" outlet, one for each pipe. He also whent UNDER the rear axel. I felt a DRAMATIC increace in HP and TRQ also sounds great. I will post pics tomarrow its to dark to get good ones now.

I drifted with my automatic a few times... not anything radical, but it worked... the shift from 2-3rd is the hardest, and if you know your accelerator you can get it to loose traction and slip a bit... probably nothing worth video taping, but it's still kinda fun when you are sliding...
