pics - ebay gen I with 06K miles - fake?
2nd gen owner here.
Someone tell me if this 1980 GS is for real. I know there are rich SOBs out there who buy cars for investments and rarely / never drive them.
Is this car for rear or is he lieing? It's up to $4500 on ebay.
Notice it's listed as 4 cyl? I know those companies that sell these "investment" cars don't ususally get all the facts right.
Notice the pics are just small enough to look good but hide detail?
Is this for real?

She is a jewel!
no matter how you look at it, she is in great condition.
looks like excessive wear on the seats and pedals for 6k though.
honestly, my 84 GSL SE is almost that clean only with 81k.
my opinion,... the speedo cable was broken (accidentally on purpose) and was recently fixed
nonetheless, one hell of a pretty car!, AND low miles!!!!

Thiis guy looks like he would auction his sister!!!! He has like 900 feedbacks! Imagine how many he has done with no feedback! His house didnt look all that great to be able to afford to buy a car and park it! But I of course have no idea as to the validity of his mileage.

You can't always judge a book by its cover, or however that saying goes.
many years ago, around 89 a friend bought a 1978 Trans Am with 650ish Original miles, original tires, original everything, from a couple who rarely ever drove it. they wen't rich, or well off, just average. they bought it for thier son for graduation and he died a few weeks before. so they just kept the car in the garage and drove it to the store every once in awhile. so these low milage cars can come from everywhere.
also he picked up the TA for $2k and sadly it got T-Boned by a drunk 3 months later.
also there may be more to this story, perhaps he got in an accident and can no longer drive, and could'nt bear the thought of selling his baby.
The car has been well taken care of. look at the engine, for those who have tried to get thier engines to look like that will know how original that motor is

Wow, that thing is MINT. I should buy it so I can cut it up to make patch panels for mine.
In two years maybe I should try to sell mine as a 6k original, eh? Oh wait that's 206k, nevermind...
