Welcome to the board! Lots of great people on here and tons of information. You'll be reading quite a bit. I think Anex570 is near you, might want to PM him. I have the same key for the door and ignition.

thanks

thanks i was hoping the door and ignition were the same i took the door tumbler out to try and get a key made, well i made a working key out of a ski pole from work after making a template from a piece of a plastic serving tray(this tells you how boring my job is) after getting home i decided to go through all my car keys to see if any were close and my other car happen to fit and i hadn't had the chance to try it in the ignition yet thanks again

My key for my '83 doesn't work in my hatch lock so one day I tried my '82 parts car key and it unlocks the hatch. Don't know if someone has ever changed the hatch lock before I owned it of if something is just worn out.

My ignition key doesn' work on the storage bins behind the seat..is there supposed to be some other key, or are the locks broke or something? The key fits, but it doesn't turn.

I believe the storage bins are a different key.
