past experience with modded air bleeds?
on stock nikki 12a carbs...
Has anybody replaced the air bleeds with smaller ones? if you did where did you buy 'em?
How did the car feel...did it improve high end? did it make it richer?
Thanks.

Changing to a smaller airbleed will richen your top end, and play games with your midrange. Some people run no airbleeds in their secondary emulsion tubes at all. But they are using the carb for racing only, and are happy with a narrow power band high in the RPMs. They have also sculpted the rest of the carb tuning to meet the absolute best top end they can get with as little seam as possible.
The air bleeds are specially made. and the stock emulsion tubes must be drilled and tapped to accept these jets. These are the emulsion tube located at the nozzels of each venturi. The other emulsion tubes are for the idle circuit, and nothing will be gained by screwing with them.
