Part out or Restore?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

already have it in my possession. i really REALLY want to restore it to atleast running so i can drive it around. what do you think would be needed? if i do restore it, it would take about a year or two... but parting it out would be sooner

helllllllp!

No, you don't part out decent SAs. If you don't want to mess with it or spend the time and expense, sell it whole. If you part it out most of the forum will show for a good .

u only had to bid 200? do you have a title for it? and can you get one where you live? i have over 5 first gens near me but without a title in north carolina its a big hassle but thats a really nice looking car from what i have seen in the pictures so clean it up and drive it! and it cost me 200 for just the black interior on my car so its like u got a free car. but if u dont want it i will come get it im only a few hours away from Charlotte. pm me if you decide to abort.

It looks to be in better shape than my car At the very least, replace all the fluids, change the filters, throw in a battery and see if she starts up. If she does, it's an easy turnaround for you. Whatever you do, don't part out that car!

EDIT: And oh yeah, igniition wires would help :-P I'm sure somebody on the forum can help you with a cheap used set, just to try it out. Hell, if you're really desperate, I could pull a set from the junkyard for ya, distributer and all. Junkyard antifreeze is also very cheep

seriously, dont part the car, but also dont just let it sit there and turn into a rust bucket. it may take you time to restore it, but while youre doing so ATLEAST keep a car cover on it if you cant keep it in a garage or something. there are lots of parts off the car i could use for my SA, but id MUCH rather see that car stay on the road. its a nice SA that just needs a little love.

after you start restoring it you may get tired of it at times, but you wont give up cause youll want to drive it so bad. itll drive you to finish it. if at any point in time you decide to give up, post the car for sale on the forum, AS A WHOLE. i know someone will buy it. heck, id buy it off you now if i just had a place to put it.

any help youll need restoring it you can easily get off the forum. so go ahead and start restoring it, and if you give up, just post the car on here for sale. if i see you start parting that car out...ill be heading up to NC so we can have a little "chat" JK
