How good is there paint. Is it dead on with the factory paint? My car was originally v3 tender blue metallic. I am thinking about re doing it that color. How much is needed to cover the car. at 300 some a gallon will i need all that?

Never tried them, but have considered it. You won't need a whole gallon. 2 qts might be enough, I think I used 2.5 qts the last time I painted a FB...

Yeah 2 qts of my color would be 264.00 for the base coat. gallon is like 340.00

Just need to know from the painter guys on the board how much you need to cover a fb

Yea 2 qts should be enough given you use all of it correctly, if you think you're going to have some "learning curve" you might want to get some more, I ended up using over a gallon on the first FB I painted b/c of waste and trying to figure it all out (it was also two tone, so that is part of it) If you're having it professionally done then 2 qts should be plenty if they know what they are doing.
