The best I've heard (besides actual replacement lines from Mazdatrix) is weedwacker fuel line...
As long as it can handle the pressure, Silicone should do okay...
Other than that, I've heard TONS of ideas.
Most bad. A lot of hoses aren't rated for enough heat, or for engine oil...

Bought some OEM used OMP lines off of e-bay, they were clogged. So I'm using rubber gasoline lines with clamps on the OMP 's end. Ti's been a year and they are holding up. I cannot find the weed wacker fuel lines at home depot nor at loew's

Dont use sillicone on anything that's going to carry oil - as oil degrades sillicone
This also includes breather pipes - as the damage may not be instantanious, but you'll be replacing it in a couple of years time, and possibly un-gunging your whole inlet from sillicone leftovers
If you want colour-coded pipework, I'm sure you can get coloured rubber pipes to match the rest of your sillicone ones?

During a carb upgrade yesterday, I had reason to remove the silicone lines that run to my "breather". There was some oil inside (obviously would be) but the lines looked and felt like brand new. These have been on there for over a year now, so I don't believe that they are reacting to the oil. If you have evidence that oil will deteriorate the silicone I'm all ears.

Only flourolined silicone hose should be used with fuel, oil or crankcase vapors. They will fail over time if exposed to petroleum products.
Tyvek 2 cycle line would be a good choice as its resistant to fuels, comes in small sizes,is usually clear/yellow and its thick walled which would keep it from kinking when its curved.Try a mower or saw shop if the local hardware/home improvement stores dont have it.We keep rolls of it in my shop since lots of people bring in saws and weedeaters for service.
