OMG: almost new clutch drags

I had my mechanic put in a new clutch on the 85GSL about 6 months ago. Told him to use an OEM after he recommended an aftermarket. I hope he did what I said. Now it drags aboutr half the time (difficult switching gears). Clutch reservoir is full and no leaks apparent. I do NOT stress clutches and transmissions (anymore), so this thing has been babied.

Don't know why the drag is intermittent. Any ideas?

Have you tried bleeding it? Should solve your problems.

^^^What he said, also check the pedal adjustment to make sure it is good. New clutches are usually very thick and can be hard to fully disengage unless it's bled properly and the pedal is adjusted perfect.

Yeah, he showed me the old parts. I think he's pretty trustworthy, and the guy who does the actual work is good.

It probably needs bleeding. Now that I think about it, I had a similar problem with the 83 and bleeding fixed it.
