Nice SA joelwahid!
Mine was VIN SA22C505892, also silver w/steel wheels. No longer mine, probably out in a farmers field now. It didn't have bump strips, or rear speakers.
After five trouble free and enjoyable years driving it with a RB exhaust system, I had to park it when MN decided to try enforcing emission regulations. When I decided to retrieve it and drive it a summer anyway three years later, the mice had gotten in and eaten/pooped/peed, and canabalized each other, and ruined the interior. And having to drive it two winters had left some of the body rusty. Damn thing started right up though.
I ended up selling it for $200 to a guy out of the 7-county test area.
And the hood prop on the right side! I find myself heading toward that side on my newly acquired FB (which will NOT see winter) after pulling the hood latch.

thanks man, my car doesnt get driven anymore either, just up and down the street every week or so. i live in a county right outside harris county (houston), and they started a stricter emmision law last year and it is bound to creep down here to my county before long. so i probly wont even be able to drive it till it gains classic status (25 years old i think). so untill then it sits in the garage , but atleast i dont have to use it as my daily driver anymore. when i got it it had 38k miles on it, now it has just under 51k miles on it.
you gotta love the steel wheels . i hate having the hood prop on the passenger side though, i have walked around that damn car so many times to prop the hood. i love the look of only one side view mirror too.
sorry to hear about the horrible fate of your car rotor-spin. better luck with the fb.
thanks to all you guys who posted pics etc. you guys got some nice SA's.

thanks for all the info you guys. i am still interested in finding out how many of these 79 rx7's built were S models. i guess i am gonna have to wade my way through more bullshit to find this out. if you guys have any sites that may help please post em. i did a quick search and it yeilded the following webpages:
