I, for one, think Denny's spoiler is tha bomb

Say what you will about rice and such, when the throttle's pegged to the firewall the bullshit stops.

I'll bet Denny's trusty ol' hoss has ***** the size of godamn watermelons to back up that fighter-jet wing. He's pretty quiet about what he's got under the hood, my money says he's got the quickest stallion of any of us.

Once I have a few more ponies under the hood to justify such a bold statement, I want one!!! And a Racing Beat bodykit....

To those Interested Cowboys...

It's an Arospeed Double GT 3 Aluminum. 52" in width, and you have your choice in riser height. Studying my SE I determined that for my driving style 6" was not enough, 16" was way too much. Given the airflow across the roof, around the glass sides, and down the back hatch-lid, 52" is good given the overall width of the car at 66". The side wing-panels on the double wing are big enough to "catch and direct," but not so large as to look silly or ruin the look and lines of the car, or so dinky as to be useless. Ten inch risers seem to be just about the right height. It puts the wing into the cocentrated air flow pattern. Angle of attack it up to you, I went with a mild angle, 5 to 10 degrees, as stability at speed was my target, not maximum downforce.

There is enough metal on the back deck of a 7 to mount risers, but there is some slope to it, and the space is short. I cut off the front 2 inches or so from the front of the two risers, and cut them at an angle so as to adopt to the curve of the glass hatch. I ground down the cut to round off the corners, then filed and sanded the rough areas, and repainted. Don't forget you've got to drill 2 new bolt holes in each riser base. Cut your rubber spacer to fit, and slip the extra amount under the rear base of the riser to account for the deck's curvature. Paint it if you want to. As I recall it's 11 1/2 inches from the rear deck key slot to the edges of the risers, but you measure yourself to make sure it's right. If you want a steep angle of attack you may have to put some support under the backend of the risers to bring the base closer to the perpendicular.

For further info, dealer, contact party, how, etc. Just PM me....

Denny the car looks great!!!

Whatever happened to a day of BBQ, hanging out and RX-7s for all the folks in Ohio? I really want to meet up with some folks from the forum to hang out and whatnot.

I'm free for ANY day after next weekend, if anyone from Ohio, KY, or Indiana want to see some schweet racing at Lunken airport in Cincinnati hit me up for some info at zachspazz@aol.com. It's on the 18th and 19th of August and the RX-7 club of Cincinnati will be there.
