OK I have had my 86 in the 85 gsl for a while, i know that there is oil pressure I check it periodically, but I would really like my gauge to start working here. I think it is just the sending unit. Is there anyway to test it, I think I already did in an indirect sort of way though.

Ok here is the story, I was putting the connectors back on everything and I put the water temp on my oil pressure sending unit, and it worked, the gauge went up slow like, water temp.. So I switched it and put it on my water temp and everything was good. Now I put the oil pressure clip on the sending unit and nothing. So I am guessing that the sending unit is bad. So I guess I need one, Does that sound right or is there something that I am missing? Obviously the gauge isn't blown, or the water temp wouldn't have worked, so I guess I answered my own question, but I need some suggestions.
