Oil Pressure Gauge - Can someone measure theirs for me?
My oil pressure gauge has stopped working. I was wondering if someone could measure the voltage on the sender wire with the sender disconnected. From the wiring diagrams, it looks like it should be ~12V and then the sender is a variable resistor to ground. Mine is around .9V.
I was also wondering if someone could measure the resistance from their sender to ground, with the wire disconnected. I have an open when the car is off and when it is running, it is around 55 Ohms. The FSM states I should see around 140 Ohms.
I also tried disconnecting the condensor, as well as grounding the sender line. Gauge still reads zero. The Meter fuse is also good.
Thanks.
