Oil pressure gauge??

Oil pressure gauge??
I have done an engine (an 82 12a, to an 83-85 12a) swap, ever since my oil guage did work. I messed with the wiring abit, and now, when the choke cuts out, the oil pressure guage goes from 0, all the way to as far as the needle will go.... I imagine I have some wires crossed, but I don't know how. The connectors make it pretty self explanitory...only certian ones fit together. I've had this problem for awhile, and tried to figure it out a couple of times... Anyone have any ideas?

there are diffrent types of ferrels
Type 1: it comes in the SUNPRO kit [> (flat side and a cone side)
then there the ones that you get from any hardware store
Type 2: <> (coned on both sides)
For the one that comes in the SUNPRO kit this is the end peice...
its flat... As to fit Type 1
as for Type 2: you will need to buy the end fitting from the place where you got the ferrel. It is coned [<
to fit the Type 2: ferrel
Thank you.

Hey thanks for the pictures and the how to. I have had a set of guages sitting here for awhile now, but haven't bothered really, cause I thought it was a major pain.
Yet another project to work on.

I installed a fitting in the banjo bolt a couple years ago. It works, but I prefer a fitting up under the filter pedestal (in the stock location). I've tried it both ways. I even drilled and tapped a blank casting on an R5 rear plate, which lacks a fitting there (like the '79-'80 1st gen). The banjo bolt is an ok choice if the engine is already in the car.
