Oil leak
Readers, I need a little help here! I discovered an oil leak the other day...it's not the Oil pan! it's front of motor (I'm thinking more towards the left side (When sitting in drivers seat)
I had it out for a pretty spirited drive on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia...lots of switch backs and elevation changes...I ran it pretty hard...did I "*****" the thing?
Is there seals on the front I should be looking at.

Take a look at mazdatrix.com. There's a metal pipe that goes to the front cover that they warn about: http://www.mazdatrix.com/b6.htm , Part # 14-720B-N231.

Thanks folks, I'll have to wait for pics as I live in the land of Snow and SALT...and lots of it! I have the car stored off site, so I'll have to deal with this in the spring.
Any of you owners out there ever try the heavy duty headlight bypass wires from Black Dragon. I'm running 100/80 watt headlights and every so ofter there is a delay from low to high beam...sometimes the delay lasts a little longer than comfort allows! This is about the only extra draw on the system...NO big dog choking Sterio/TV/Sub/Computer or hot tub!
Cheers

If I were inclined to use such highpower lights (I consider them rude), I'd convert the battery cables from aluminum (!) to copper, in particular arc-welding cable which is thousands of strands which makes them very flexible and very low resistance. Accept no substitutes, including common autostore copper cables. Get heavyduty battery post clamps from "West Marine" or some other boat store. You'll find just this conversion is an IMMENSE improvement over the old cables for cold weather startups. While you're at the arc-welding store, pick up enough extra cable to make yourself some super-duper booster cables that will put shame on that cheap crap from the autostore.
To switch that high power to the lights you'll probably want to put some relays in, too.
