You don't have a -SE. But I use 10W-40.

Your climate will determine what viscosity oil you should run. Do you have the Owner's Manual, it states which oil to run in differing temerature ranges. The following table is from the 85 Owner's Manual.

20W50 is fine year round if your in a mild climate. If it gets cold in the winter, its good to shift to 10W30.Gets your oil pressure up quicker in the morning.
Use non synthetic like Castrol,Valvoline or Chevron and change it every 3000 miles,religiously....best thing in the world you can do for a rotary.

Yo I know this is an old post but in case you're still on this site, mind me asking how you got it to run that long? Did you pre-mix, what kinda tricks did you use, any special tips for getting it to run that long? Thanks!

Last log-on was in December of 2018, Yoshi. For future cases like this, you can see the last time a user has logged on by going to their public profile (do this by clicking on their name). It should say it near the top of their profile above the tabs.

Well if he only put 15,000 of those miles his statement means nothing.
