Oil and Gas leak! Help!
Last night I parked the fb in garage after a nice long drive. This morning I come out to the garage and I smell gas, look under the car, and find a small puddle of gas and oil. I didn't get a good look but it appeared to have been coming from the oil pan.
maybe the gas leak is occuring somewhere else and running down to the oil pan?

from the engine bay there could only be three possible fuel leaks/causes for leak:
1. leaking rubber fuel feed or return line
2. faulty carb gasket (air horn gasket, sight glass o-ring etc) or accelerator pump gasket
3. stuck float and fuel would be puddling and leaking form the air horn
the oil leak could be from a few places and to be sure you'll need to clean the entire front cover area and the oil pan. degrease them and take the car for a drive (once the fuel leask is fixed of course) and recheck and see where the oil is seeping from. chances are you have a faulty front cover gasket or leaking oil metering pump gasket.

thanks guys
Alright so the leak isn't in the fuel lines. I believe it is a gasket. when i took a closer look at the carb there was gas all over one side of it (area behind omp lines). looks like rebuild time. I had planned on switching over to a different carb setup anyways so whatever...

Behind the MOP lines sounds like the accelerator pump is leaking, if it's on the driver's/left side, rear, of the carb. Pump the gas pedal and look for fresh fuel. If that's where the leak is, buy the full carb rebuild kit. Just buying the accelerator pump diaphragm costs about 1/2 of what a full kit runs.
