oh oh
I checked the oil in my car today and found that there appears to be water in it. I don't mean in the filler neck I mean the dipstick.
It doesn't smell like anti-freeze so I believe it is pure H2O.
I ran through a rare November rain storm yesterday and I was wondering if this water could have entered the engine through the vent tube in the oil filler neck as mine is not connected to anything. I checked the coolant level and found that it is right up.
I will do a quick change this morning and see if that clears it up.
I read a thread about hookingup th event tube but got lost after the first sentence does anyone have any pictures of how it should look?

Might not be a big deal
I've seen the creamy crud on my dipstick before. I panicked, but I had to drive the car home. Upon getting home it was gone.
Sometimes it's condensation that's gotten into the oil and stirred up. Let the engine while warm for a bit and it might clear up. It did for me. If it doesn't, then you may have bigger problems.

I changed the oil this morning before going home and drove the 30 miles to my house at about 70 mph and their was just a very little left in there. I will get it pressure checked on Friday and see if I have a seal gone. If I do I will just get a used engine from the wrecker ( only $150.00 cdn).

I haven't seen many 13b's lately, we have a very reasonable auto wrecker in Calgary. It is self serve and all the parts prices are listed on the wall ie all engines $150.00.
They usually get a rex at least once every week or so.
Shipping to Texas might be expensive but since I dispatch trucks for a living I may be able to come up with a deal here and there.
