Offset spec. for 15x7 rims?

If you are running 15x7 rims on your first gen then I want to know what your offset is and if they rub.

I'm looking for some rims and tires and doing my homework first.

I don't remember the offset numbers,i'll look around here fot it,
but 15X7 wheels with 205/50/15 tires, don't rub at all,i could
fit larger wheels maybe ?with a super low profile tire,i have not
changed the ride height of the car,if i lowered the car,the 15X7's
with 205/50/15's would rub bad then,at the top of the wheel well.
and the fender lips, the lips would have to be radiused, thats a good idea anyway,,big diference,,from 82's 13 inch wheels to
15 inch wheels,i'm used to it now though, car still turns on a dime
and the ride is more stable with 15's and good rubber

Hey are things?? getting rims... I have 16's and the offset should be the same right, when I bought mine the offset was matched to the original I beleive.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are the spec's on my rims

they have 2 bolt patterns on each rim (behind the cap)
4x100 and 4x114.3

16x7 inch

offset is 40

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I believe the bolt pattern on the gsl-se is the 4x114.3 cause its the large one on the rims. Anyways I'd go with 215's on the back

My tires are 205/45/16 all around. No rubbing at all.

Well you've seen my car in person but heres the link again, There should be a close-up of just the rim.

Let me know if you are having problems finding rims. I can help you out.

Yup, 4 x 114.3mm (or 4 x 4.5") is the bolt patern for GSL-SE's and early 2nd Gens.

Thanks guys. Just looking for a used set right now (or a new set @ the right price)

Most of the rims I've come across are 15x7 with a +38 offset.
now I gotta save up some cash for a rim and tire combo or find a set of used ones.

If anyone has a line on any, let me know.
