odd oil readings

ok this is odd after my car warms up my oil pressure goes to hell. when its cold(with 20/50oil) i get almost 110psi with the choke @ 3500rpm, after it warms up @4krpm im showing about 50psi or a little less. What would cause this? its a ported 12a with 12k miles on it we didnt replace the oil pill thing in the front of the e shaft or the thing in the rear place

Question Oil pressure

Hello,

I'm not the bigest and best tech out there, but I bet that your gage is not very accruate. Cold oil will be thicker and will pump harder, making a higher pressure. If the gage showes about 50psi. You should be ok. The best thing would be to get a auto-meter gage.

Hope that helpes.
