...the joy of driving a 7 that is.... now that I eliminated a terrible headache inducing devil like vibration that went through the whole car.
I found one of the four BOLTS on driveshaft flange to rear connection was MISSING. The vibration was worst between 35-45 MPH, but always there. I suspected the driveshaft, as wheels and tires were new, and this simple repair nailed it. (I Now have about 250 miles on this car since I purchased it months ago).
Also removed 2" of steering wheel play by adjusting the steering box. (a 1 5/8" six point socket worked well - no grinding of socket needed).
These 2 items made a tremendous improvement.
Next on the list - fix the 2 " play in the steering - the telescoping action. Now where to drill those holes??? I'll be searching the forum...
