Just so you know I was in the position of trying to scroung up the las $500 of the cash and my deal went south so I am uable to buy this for that reason... and as far as talking rotor vs piston out of the car there was no convincing needed.

If anyone wants to buy it but can't meet him i got relatives and friends all over east Tennessee where you could store it, or just ask someone on here if someone else wants to buy it that bad than you can get someone to store it till they can get over to pick it up. So what will happen to it if you can't sell it?

Well, jeremyt, sounds like you`re in a bind. If I may offer a bit of advice...
Go find a big enough storage space and put the car there until you can come back and sell it right. You`ll get more out of it and you won`t have to resort to taking so little for it.
Hell, in the meantime you can take some pics and put it on ebay when you`re ready, then arrange a pickup. You don`t absolutely HAVE to sell it now, right?
Anyways, that`s what I`d do...

i think he does need to sell it to pick up his other car..if i still lived in miami i would pick it up in an instant,as my funds are,well, readily available..(well, not now since living on this rock is so damn expensive..)

 

I would love to slam on this car, but I am afraid of the overseas cost for it, I'll do a checkup and see what I can find out, if it isn't too stiff, I may just buy this car off you, I got the cash so it shouldn't really be a problem, but I need to find out about the shipping.

Thanks bro, I appreciate it. I will probably make the cut off for a definit sale around tuesday night. If I don't sell I will maybe try to either leave it here and have a family member front me the cash and leave the title with them then put it on ebay were it will probable go for more money or just keep it. The problem with keeping it is now I will have to drive it down and my girl who has had her license only a few months will have to follow me alone. I will also have to dirve alone in the rx-7 for 1400+ miles. I will need a ciropractor after that trip.

 

I wasn't sure what I had so I took a look today. I have the is stock LSD. What is in the car are Simpson racing gears. The way the car drives it must have been changed for the track because it is still quick off the line but top end doesn't end. I had it up to 125 on the highway in 5th gear at about 5000 rpms. She was still pulling hard but I had my friend in the car with me and didn't want to go any faster. I don't think he did either. So to clear up what the "extra rear end" is are the stock gears and housing minus the back cover. A nice add in I must say.

Well it's Monday at 6:45 PM. I am leaving on Thursday at 5:00 AM. Lots interested but still ain't sold

Yes, not a big following around here. It is an out of state car and it seems to one of the only ones around. All the ones that were from around here have rotted away a long time ago.

It has also been in the want ad for a month. Not one call from either. Like I said, not a big following around here.

 

ok dude, i agree with anybody here who says you should just store the car for the time being. Don't rush this process, espescially if a family member can front you $1,500 for the other car. I feel like your car could easily go for $3k to the right person, but that process takes time (and maybe e-bay). I tried to talk my friend into buying it from you, but he too needs more time to think about it.

regardless, here is a free bump for a great deal (if i didn't already have 2 rx-7's and a maxima i'd probably jump on this just like the rest of the guys, but we all have our excuses i guess)
