Arrow nothing below 3k

ive ome across the problem of when i floor it with the revs under 3k that the engine dies...i cant figure it out..ive tried playing with the idle screw but with no luck...any suggestions?

Well, I'll assume that you are running fuel injection, rather than a carb. I'm not too familiar with the FI system, but for starters you can verify that you have spark on your leading ignition. Does it make good power when you floor it over 3k?

i have a carb not fi but yeah it pulls very hard 4-8k

Vacuum leaks? Carb jetted properly?


My 13B setup in my 1980 used to die when you matted it low RPM. I needed to jet it up HUGE.

Okay then, for a carb: check your accelorator pump and your ignition timing...

i agree but timing should be checked neways if hes not sure. plus its so easy y not.
