not getting power to the fuel pump need help.

just replaced the fuel pump connected everything and nothing any ideas?

Why did you replace it in the first place? Plug in a test light or volt meter to see if it has power. Ignition switch needs to be in start mode to energize the circuit on the S3s. Also check the Meter fuse under the dash.

well checked the wires and were getting power to the fuel pump but pump wasn't running, so spent $103 and still no power. so getting a new fuel pump was just trouble shooting

if you bought the pump new and its not working, exchange it for another new pump. troubleshooting first is essential. if you are not getting power to the pump in the future, you can always test to see if you have 12V going into the fuel pump relay. are you getting 12V to the pump when cranking the engine?

Yes getting 12v to pump when cranking, i feel like a crack head looking to score more crack, searching all relays cuz im hearing some sort of SHORT when you turn the key to ON position. just getting bunt out cant even talk about it anymore.

the relay should click when the ignition switch is activated. if you are getting 12V to the pump then my guess is that the pump is bad. replace it.
