Noise from rear when decelerating
Hey guys, just brought my second rx-7 series II (im only 17). I am having a few
probs with it, when taking my foot off the accelerator the rear off the car starts to shake a little and make really deep groaning sounds. I know that it has a locked diff and was wondering could this be the problem. It is hard to isolate the problem when driving... lol
When the short shift gearbox was put into the car and the ratios changed i have noticed the speedo out by about 0.143 kms per 1km/h. Is there anyway to fix this other than changing the ratios back to original?
Last but not least, my last rx was automatic but mild ported and it seemed to have alot better acceleration that this one does at the lower rpm, i thought the secondaries might not have been wired up but they had that shocked me... i cant feel them kicking in at all??? My fuel consumption is really bad also???
Anyways thanking you in advance...
cheers guys

Could be spark plugs or wires are bad. Also check the ignitors and distributor cap and rotor for the power issue. Could be timing is off, but should check the simpler things first. The rest of the stuff, not too sure about so I am sure someone will chime in and help you out on the rest of the stuff.
Congrats on the purchase and good luck with the projects!
