No power to stereo- plz help!
Hey guys,
I have absolutely no idea what I did yesterday. I was going to change the steering column panel so I removed it, but the other one I had didn't fit. So, I put the other one back on and took her out to gas her up. I noticed then that the stereo will no longer power on and the original clock in the car no longer works. It lights up, but the time isn't displayed. Both worked fine up until I started messing around with the car.
What could I have done?!? It's frustrating.
And, no, it's not the fuse. That's the one thing I know how to check!
Any ideas? I would appreciate input so much.
Thanks,
Tammie

Here's your three choices if it's aftermarket:
1) You accidentally pulled the wire that goes from the ignition to the power on the radio that tells it to turn on. (My money is on this...)
2) You somehow disconnected the ground wire on your radio (not as likely as #1)
3) You grounded the wire in scenario one and blew the fuse on the back of your radio.
Check those three things.
