Nikki Strip and Rebuild
I have an 83 RX7 with the Nikki from my 85 installed. I am working on stripping the emissions and converting to a mechanical secondary setup. I am looking for any insight/resources for what devices (if not all) of which I can plate and block/cap off. I will be keeping the manual/mechanical choke setup, but other than that I do not want anything else on the carb. Any insight/resources will be appreciated! Thanks guys

Boost prepped is the same as NA prepped. So any boost prepped info you read that I've posted within the past year, should be usable.
Oh and you do want to hog out the venturis to anything bigger than stock. Stock venturis are only 20mm which is too small, even for a stockport 12A, and have no low end torque or power. You want, in my opinion, at least 23mm. But the devil is in the details for how to remove the venturis safely, how to hog them out correctly etc. Maybe a bit too much for a beginner.
One thing you must absolutely pay attention to are the OEM needles and seats. Do not swap them out for the poorly machined new ones in the rebuild kit. All rebuild kits have these poorly made seats. It is an industry-wide problem. Also do not adjust your floats.
I could go on and on but I've already written tons on the subject.
